How I Spent Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday came and went. How did I spend the day? I was with my wife while attending the Grand Kerygma Feast entitled "Overcome!" at the SMX Center, Mall of Asia.

Opening Song by the Worship Leader Bro Gabriel and the Kerygma singers.

It was a truly invigorating experience from start to finish: the opening worship, the mass, the testimonies, the songs, and, finally, Bo's Talk. Well, even the closing worship after Bo's Talk was invigorating too. With around 8,000 jumping people in attendance, I felt the floor underneath me moved up and down too, no kidding.

What is Truth?

Pilate's question, "What is Truth?" to Jesus in John 18:38 of today's gospel reading (Good Friday) is something to reflect on. The gospel didn't mention any answer from Jesus. Instead, Pilate declared within the same verse that he found Jesus innocent, "I find no guilt in him."

Did that make Pilate a Christian? He didn't find guilt in someone who says He is King? Pilate didn't find that a crime, knowing at that time that Ceasar was "the" Emperor?

Indeed, what is truth?

What is truth in our life today?

It is definitely something to reflect on today.
